Rules for using ShipBackHome responsibly. This policy supplements our Terms of Service.
This Acceptable Use Policy explains what you may not do when using ShipBackHome. It applies to shippers, their team members, and customers. It supplements, and should be read alongside, our Terms of Service.
You may not use ShipBackHome to: violate any law or regulation; defraud or attempt to defraud ShipBackHome, a shipper, or a customer; harass, threaten, or abuse another user; impersonate any person or business; interfere with or disrupt the platform's operation; attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, system, or data; or scrape, crawl, or extract data from the platform using automated means without our prior written permission.
Shippers may not use ShipBackHome to arrange a booking and then direct the customer to complete payment outside the platform for the purpose of avoiding the platform fee on a transaction that was booked through ShipBackHome.
You may not use the platform to book, offer, or arrange shipment of illegal goods, weapons, controlled substances, hazardous materials, or any item prohibited by U.S. or destination-country law. This list is illustrative, not exhaustive — see our Terms of Service for additional detail on prohibited items.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at security@shipbackhome.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
You may not use ShipBackHome, or data obtained from it, to send unsolicited marketing messages, spam, or any communication a recipient has not agreed to receive.
If you encounter conduct that violates this policy, report it to hello@shipbackhome.com. We review reports and take appropriate action, which may include warning, suspending, or terminating the responsible account.
We may investigate suspected violations of this policy and may suspend or terminate access to the platform, with or without notice, for conduct we determine — in our reasonable discretion — violates this policy or puts other users or ShipBackHome at risk.
We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. We will note the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of ShipBackHome after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
